As part of this effort, Cleveland brothers Pete and Mike Mitchell created an exclusive flavor, Pink Ribbon Peppermint Chip Ice Cream. The flavor is available in the four Mitchell’s ice cream shops and at Heinen’s Fine Foods.
With the sale of each pint of Pink Ribbon Peppermint Chip Ice Cream, fifty cents is donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure® to help reduce the prevalence and effects of breast cancer in the United States.
